This Donation Transparency Policy explains how our donation program works, how donation recipients are selected, how donations are calculated, and how we keep our community informed every step of the way.
Our Commitment
At PAWMINGOS™, our mission goes beyond creating unique mini building-block pets. We are committed to supporting animal welfare by donating a portion of the profit from eligible product sales to legally registered animal shelters and nonprofit rescue organizations that rescue, rehabilitate, and care for abandoned, neglected, and at-risk animals.
Every purchase helps us continue our mission of creating happier pets, healthier lives, and a better world.
How Donations Are Calculated
Donations are made from a portion of the profit generated from eligible product sales, not from the full purchase price.
Business expenses must first be covered to ensure PAWMINGOS™ can continue operating and growing. These expenses may include, but are not limited to:
- Product manufacturing and sourcing
- Shipping and fulfillment costs
- Payment processing fees
- Marketing and advertising
- Website maintenance and operating costs
- Employee and contractor compensation
- Product development
- Other necessary business expenses
After these operational costs are accounted for, the designated portion of the remaining profit is allocated to our donation fund.
As PAWMINGOS™ continues to grow, our goal is to increase the amount we are able to donate over time.
Donation Schedule
Donations are made every two weeks.
Rather than donating after every individual purchase, eligible donations are combined into one donation fund and distributed during each donation period.
How Organizations Are Selected
The organization receiving each donation is chosen by our community through polls and voting on our official social media pages.
Eligible recipients include:
- Registered animal shelters
- Registered nonprofit animal rescue organizations
- Other legally recognized animal welfare organizations
Before any donation is made, PAWMINGOS™ verifies that the selected organization is legally registered and eligible to receive charitable donations.
If a selected organization is unable to receive donations or no longer meets our eligibility requirements, we reserve the right to select the next eligible organization or conduct a new community vote.
Donation Verification & Transparency
Transparency is one of our core values.
Before each donation is made, PAWMINGOS™ will contact the selected animal shelter or nonprofit rescue organization to confirm that they are able to receive the donation.
Once the donation has been completed, we will request confirmation from the recipient organization that the donation has been successfully received.
Whenever possible, we will publicly share:
- The name of the recipient organization
- The donation date
- The donation amount
- Proof of the completed donation
- Confirmation from the recipient organization acknowledging receipt of the donation
These updates may be published on our website, blog, newsletter, and official social media channels so our community can clearly see the positive impact made through their support.
Our goal is to ensure every donation is transparent, verifiable, and delivered to organizations that are actively improving the lives of animals in need.
Our Independence
PAWMINGOS™ does not accept compensation, sponsorships, commissions, or financial incentives from recipient organizations in exchange for selecting them as donation recipients.
Organizations are selected solely through community voting and eligibility verification as described in this policy.
Community Participation
Every member of our community can help decide where donations go.
By participating in our social media polls and voting events, you help choose which eligible animal shelter or nonprofit rescue organization receives the next donation.
Voting is completely free, and everyone is welcome to participate.
Donation Delays
While we aim to make donations every two weeks, occasional delays may occur due to:
- Payment processing times
- Bank processing delays
- Public holidays
- Verification of recipient organizations
- Other unforeseen circumstances
If a scheduled donation is delayed, the allocated funds will remain in the donation fund and be included in the next available donation period.
